Maelle Dufour (L'Essor, Windsor Legion) wins the 2000m steeplechase at the U20 Championships this past weekend at the University of Windsor, crossing the line in 7:08.75 — over five seconds ahead of teammate Emma Rudling. Gianfranco Rauti has been building up and improving all season. He set PB's in both the 1,500m and 3,000m this past weekend at the U20 Ontario Championships. He placed 2nd in the 1,500m in 3:57.38 and 4th in the 3,000m in 8:48.52. Going into grade 11 at Villanova this fall, Rauti raced against older runners and held his own. He will now take two weeks off before turning his focus to cross country training.

A slow start in the women's 800m at the U20 Championships held at the University of Windsor. Anieu Chan or Massey and Windsor Legion broke away from the group with just over a lap to go and won with easy finishing in 2:06.21. Micah Carswell of Kitchner placed second at 2:10.19.

Brendan Currie of WinCity Endurance Project won the 3,000m in 8:42.44. His time was over three seconds faster than runner-up James Wheeler of Saugeen Track and Field Association whol clocked in at 8:45.63.

T.J. Laramie closed out Jesus Ru of Argentina to win the Rising Stars inaugural featherweight championship.
