The Canada Cup of Diving is set to make another splash in Windsor.
Diving Plongeon Canada, the City of Windsor and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island have announced the international event will return to the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre from April 15-18, 2027.

The World Aquatics-recognized competition is expected to bring athletes from more than a dozen countries, including Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Japan, South Korea and the United States.

In a first for the event, admission will be free for all spectators, thanks to support from the City of Windsor and Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island. Organizers hope the move will pack the stands while giving more families the chance to watch world-class diving up close.
The four-day meet will feature nine medal events, including Olympic disciplines such as the 3-metre springboard, 10-metre platform, synchronized events and the fan-favourite mixed team competition.
The 2027 event marks the fourth straight year the Canada Cup has been hosted in Windsor, with city officials saying it continues to generate millions of dollars in tourism and economic impact while showcasing Windsor as a destination for major international sporting events.
