The Sr. Girls All-Star game was held at St. Clair College Monday. League convenor Stacey Ditchfield is extremely happy to see the success of girls soccer this past season with three teams (Lajeunesse, Tecumseh Vista and Villanova) qualifying for OFSAA.

The WECSSAA Sr. Boys All-Star game was held at the University of Windsor Monday night. Unlike games of the past, there were only two goals scored in regulation time with Marcos Diaz of St. Joe's tallying for Team Red while Team White scored an own goal.

Noah VanNeck easily won the jr. boys discus with a throw of 55.29M falling just shy of the record set by Blake Foster of Sarina Northern in 2019 of 56.84.

Andrea Chronopolous of Sandwich Secondary a broke the WECSSAA jr. girls 200m record that stood for 50 years, won the 100m and was part of the Sabres' 4x100 relay and came away with three gold medals at the WECSSAA Championships.

The Villanova Wildcats track and field team are the WECSSAA champs after dethroning Sandwich and ending their 15-year run as top dog.
