Express feel good heading into finale

The Windsor Express are having a better season than last year but won't make it above the .500 mark. The team is not concerned with their record. The Express want to be prepared for the playoffs and Friday's 111-110 come-from-behind win over first-place Sudbury sent the right message to onlookers.
"That's always been the goal. To take down the top dogs." said Tanner Stuckman who sealed the win with two clutch free throws and swatted the ball away from the rim with Sudbury swarming the Express bucket looking for the winning bucket.
He feels the victory shows they won't be an easy win in Kitchener Wednesday night and gives them some confidence heading into game 1 of their best-of-5 NBL of Canada semi-final series against The Five Friday in Sudbury. Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) are scheduled for May 10th and 12th at the WFCU Centre.
"Hey, this Windsor team is starting to kind of turn it around and starting to figure some things out so I think that's gonna really benefit us especially in the playoffs."
The team celebrated former player Quinnel Brown during a halftime ceremony.
