Express one win away from final

The Windsor Express have the Sudbury Five on the brink of elimination following a 116-106 win in game 3 of their best-of-five semi-final series. "That's big, and we have another home game." said the NBL of Canada's newly named sixth man of the year Ja'Myrin Jackson who 4-8 from the arc and finished with 22 points.

Justin Moss had 24 points to lead the Express who fought off a third quarter rally that saw the Five erase an 11-point lead and pull to within one. "The biggest thing is coach Jones has his team keeping composure right now." said Five head coach Logan Stutz. "They're able to keep composure, stick to their game plan."

Players admit third quarters have been tough for Windsor but the Express persevered and were able to hold off the Five. "We tend to come out flat sometimes but we did a really good job defending their best players and not let them cut into the lead too much." said Nick Garth.

Windsor has a chance to advance to the final for the first time since 2015 with a win Friday night at the WFCU Centre. "We're gonna need our fanbase to come out, support and cheer loud and hopefully we get the win for them and get to the finals." Garth said.
