Windsor pro boxer Hunter Lee is putting his perfect 5-0 record on the line Friday night against Pablo Polanco, an experienced Mexican journeyman, in a somewhat hometown fight with Lee at the Motor City Casino in Detroit.
"He's going to bring a fight Friday night," Lee said of Polanco, calling the matchup a real test he needs to get past.

The fight card begins at 7 p.m and Lee is fired up about performing in front of a crowd he considers his own. "The crowd cheering me on just gives me that extra bit of energy in the fight," he said.
Camp has shifted into taper mode this week — shorter, high-intensity sessions rather than heavy grinding, with Lee crediting coach Kam getting him ready for a physical battle. Just as important, he says, is the mental side: visualizing the win before he ever steps in the ring.
Lee also pointed to his environment at Kronk Gym, where he trains alongside boxing figures like Jimmy Paul and Milton McCrory. "I'm learning so much every day," he said, adding that the new wrinkles his coach is teaching him will be on display Friday.
"You're going to see the best version of Hunter Lee here. All the hard work is done. Now it's tiem to have fun Friday night."
