Multiple medal winners

Ronan Radovich of Sandwich was one of several triple gold medal winners at this year's WECSSAA track and field championships. He capped off the three-day event with a gold in the jr. boys 800meters. He also won the 3000m and 1500m.

Nicole Larue of St. Joe's won the sr. girls 800m on the final day of the meet adding to her gold medal wins in the 1500m and 3000m.

Massey's Noah Costa won the boys steeplechase while Villanova's Lauren Malek won the inaugural girls 2000m steeplechase event.

Powerplay Windsor was born during a trip to Italy in the summer of 2018. Walking through a charming pedestrian underpass sparked a memory—being in the tunnel at the University of Michigan early in my career. That brought me to the upcoming season that was going to be overlooked due to cuts to legacy media.

I launched Powerplay Sports as a passion project and to continue showcasing local athletes and our vibrant sports community.
