The Unico Primo Junior Golf Tour delivered another dramatic day Sunday at Seven Lakes Golf Course, with playoffs needed in three of four divisions.

Junior Girls
Beach Grove's Madelaine Beck made an immediate impact in her first start of the 2026 season, fresh off the Golf Ontario Women's Amateur Championship. The reigning 2025 Overall Champion shot an even-par 74, then won on the first playoff hole over Maple City's Kassandra Rombouts, who matched her score. Kingsville's Madeline Young was third at 77.
Collegiate Women's
Hannah Butzer (Bethune-Cookman/Maple City) picked up her second win in three events, firing a 74. St. Clair's Justine Gorham took second (81), and Savana Smith was third (82).
Junior Boys
Essex's Finlay Burns brought momentum from a 66 at his last Golf Ontario Match Play qualifier, but Kingsville's Brady Toupin matched him at 69 to force a playoff — then birdied the first extra hole to win the title. Essex's Henrik Mingay and Noah Turner and Roseland's Justin Shaw tied for third at 71.
Collegiate Men's
Former junior rivals Ben Buchner (Simon Fraser) and Bennett Brazier (Monmouth), both coming off strong freshman seasons, tied at 71. Buchner — the 2024 Overall Junior Champion — birdied the first playoff hole for his first win of the season. St. Clair's Cale Marontate finished third at 74.
The tour continues Wedneday at Essex Golf & Country Club.
