Spitfires rebound to win three straight

The Windsor Spitfires have quickly turned their fortunes around. The team was on a three-game losing skid before sweeping a trio of games last weekend. "After that game in Saginaw I think we were all embarrassed and we really responded with a great week of practice and a great three-in-three." Said head coach Marc Savard.
Liam Greentree is making the most of his move to the top line with captain Matthew Maggio and Jacob Maillet. The 16-year old has three goals and five points in his last four games after putting up three points in his first 20 OHL games.
"With injury comes opportunity." said Savard. "We were missing some guys and I felt it was a good time to give him a look up there."
Greentree has valued his time spent with Maggio and Maillet. "They really keep me focused. They help me keep my cool too you know, not feel the pressure as much"
The Spits will put their winning streak on the line Thursday when they square off against the top in the OHL. Like Windsor, The Ottawa 67's also rebounded from a losing streak and have also won three straight.
