Campus update: Saints football wins again plus more

At St. Clair, the football team has run the table beating Hamilton 51-1 Sunday to close out the regular season 7-0. Nathanial Norton pulled in two interceptions. Billy Patterson Jr and Fola Adeniyi each had a pick. MJ Doyle-Marshall ran the ball 13 times for 128 yards. The Saints got touchdowns from Maurice Sodja, Boriz Wright and Tristan Rutherford on the ground while Zack Burmaster and Enzey Youyoute each caught a TD pass. St. Clair will host the Quinty Skyhawks this Saturday at Acumen Stadium in the OFC quarterfinals.

The women's soccer team improved to 3-1-2 following a win and draw. The Saints got two goals from Victoria Walsh and a single by Alexa Mognon in a 3-0 win over Niagara Saturday. On Sunday they played a tough match against 2nd place Humber in a 0-0 draw. The Hawks remain undefeated with a 4-0-3 record. St. Clair plays at Lambton Thursday.

The men's team beat Niagara 9-0 Saturday. Tanner Page had three goals to lead St. Clair. On Sunday Humber got two first half goals by Danny Medeiros as the Hawks blanked the Saints 2-0. It was St. Clair first loss of the season as they drop to 4-1-2.

After having their 43 game win streak halted in a pair of losses to Durham in Oshawa Saturday the Saints took out their frustrations on Seneca Sunday beating the Sting 11-0 and 7-0. St. Clair is tied with Durham for first place in the league at 18-2.

The men's baseball team extended their win streak to seven games with a weekend sweep. The Saints beat Sheridan 7-0 and 3-0 Saturday while taking out the George Brown Huskies 13-1 and 6-5 Sunday. The Saints are 12-1 and are one game ahead of Humber for the top spot in the standings. The host Lambton Thursday night at Cullen Field.

The men's baseball team beat McMaster 11-9 Saturday and Western 2-0 Sunday improving to 11-8 on the season.

The women's soccer team absorbed a couple of losses to Guelph losing 2-1 Friday on the road and 2-1 at home Sunday. The Lancers fall to 4-3-2 and look to get back in the win column Friday at home against Waterloo.

The men's team also lost both of their games against the Gryphons and drop to 1-4-4. The Lancers are on a three game losing skid.

The softball team split their games against McMaster Saturday losing the opener 8-1 while beating on the Marauders 11-3 in the second game. The Lancers are 9-5 and will host a pair of doubleheaders next weekend at Mic Mac Park to close out the regular season.
