PowerPix: Windsor Lancers football ready to go

Windsor, ON — After an extended training camp and a Week 1 bye, the Windsor Lancers football team is more than ready to hit the field and launch their 2025 campaign.
Head coach J-P Circelli says the team has stayed locked in through a tough third week of training camp and is eager to finally compete.
“The team is really excited about kicking off the 2025 season,” Circelli told Powerplay Sports. “There are a lot of new faces bringing in fresh energy as well as some fan favourites returning for what should be a great year ahead. We are working hard to make this Windsor-Essex community proud.”
The Lancers begin their season Saturday night on the road against the Laurier Golden Hawks before returning home for their home opener on September 6th against the Guelph Gryphons.
