Get ready wrestling fans. The Downtown Showdown is returning to Oullette Avenue July 25th.
Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is teaming up with the Downtown Windsor BIA to shutdown the street between Park Street and University Avenue for this free event.
MLP president Scott D'Amore is excited to bring wrestling back to the downtown core for a third time to help continue this summer's excitement and help support local businesses.

"This is a free event in a time in Windsor when everybody's feeling that pinch with everything going on," D'Amore told Powerplay Sports. "Here's an opportunity. Come to our downtown, which gets underutilized, give business to a lot of the businesses that are down there and operating. Support local, totally free."
Headlining the card is rising Canadian star Bryce Hanson against hometown favorite El Reverso, Windsor's own "Canadian luchador." Former WWE star D'Lo Brown will work the match as special enforcer, keeping things honest.
"To make sure that there's no shenanigans, it gets called right down the middle," D'Amore said.
Last summer's Downtown Showdown featured seven matches on the same stretch of Ouellette.
