Hockey Game or Backyard BBQ?

I'm not hosting a photo contest but if I was this would be the weiner for sure. These fans embraced $1 hot dog night which everyone enjoyed.

The Spits sold 93% of their stock and look forward to doing the buck a dog night again on January 21st.

Spits win but Flint keeping pace

The Windsor Spitfires overcame a one-goal deficit to score a 3-1 over Owen Sound at home Wednesday night. Landon Jackman scored five minutes into the game to give the visitors a 1-0 lead that lasted until late in the second. That's when Cole Davis capitalized on the penalty kill. He saw an opportunity when two Flint players mishandled the puck in the neutral zone. Davis stripped the puck and was on his was untouched to tie the game.

AJ Spellacy round himself streaking down the right wing with speed before depositing a backhand move between the five hole 17 seconds into the third giving the Spits a 2-1 lead. Anthony Cristoforo scored an empty-netter to ice the game late as Windsor improved to 18-5-2-1 on the season.

The Spits still hold the top spot in the Western Conference and the West Division with 39 points but Flint keeps on winning. The Firebirds dropped Saginaw 5-4 Wednesday night for their 10th straight win leaving them two points behind Windsor.

The Spits are on the road Friday at Guelph and face the Attack in Owen Sound Saturday at 4pm. Windsor's next home game is December 5th when the Spits welcome London for Rivalry night.
